Good questions. Straight answers.

A little know-how.

Practical answers before you wash, polish, clean or protect.

Washing

Can I use a rinseless wash on a very dirty car?

Remove heavy mud, sand and grit first. Rinseless washing is best approached as a maintenance method with plenty of lubrication and clean wash media.

How much ONR should I mix?

Follow your exact bottle’s directions. Our stocked listing is V5; the current manufacturer website discusses V6. Check the version before following an online ratio.

Can I mix the products in a bundle together?

No. Bundles group separate steps. Never combine chemicals in a bottle or bucket unless the manufacturer explicitly instructs you to do so.

Polishing

Do I need 400, 1000, 2500 and 3800?

No. Choose the least aggressive process that works on a test spot. Heavy-cut compounds address more substantial defects; 2500 is a medium-cut option and 3800 refines the finish. See our Menzerna comparison guide.

Is polish the same as protection?

No. A polish corrects or refines the surface; a wax, sealant or coating protects it. Some all-in-one products combine jobs, but Menzerna 2500 and 3800 need a separate protection step.

Are pads and a machine included in the polishing bundle?

No. It contains the two listed bottles only. Use an appropriate medium pad for 2500 and a soft finishing pad for 3800, matched to your machine. Check the guide before buying.

How often should I polish?

Only when the paint condition calls for it. The suitable process depends on paint type, thickness and previous correction. Routine washing does not require routine abrasive polishing.

Interiors

Can one cleaner be used on every interior surface?

Do not assume so. Check the product label, identify the material and test a hidden spot. Screens, suede, Alcantara, delicate leather and specialist coatings can need dedicated care.

Should I dress the steering wheel or pedals?

No. Keep dressings away from pedals, steering wheels and other surfaces where slipperiness would affect control.

Why clean before applying a trim dressing?

Removing dirt first gives the care product a suitable surface. Use clean cloths and apply only to materials approved by that product’s label.

Wheels & tyres

Can tyre dressing go on the tread?

No. Apply a suitable dressing to clean, dry sidewalls only. Keep it away from tread, braking surfaces and areas that need grip.

Can I drive straight after applying DarkSide?

Allow it to dry and remove excess first. CARPRO specifies avoiding water and allowing 1–2 hours of drying; follow the directions on your bottle and account for conditions.

Does the wheel and tyre duo include a cleaner?

No. It is a finishing pair for already-clean wheels and tyres. Suitable cleaners, brushes and separate applicators are also needed.

Bundles & orders

Do bundles include a discount?

The displayed price is the sum of the listed individual products. No automatic bundle discount applies. Delivery, where applicable, is shown separately before payment.

What happens if a bundle item sells out?

A bundle is offered only when all its selected items are available and in stock. Stock can change while you browse; check the basket if an addition is declined.

Where can I check delivery and returns?

Use our Delivery and Returns pages for the current arrangements and your cancellation rights. Contact us if you need a dispatch estimate or a return destination.
